What you must do in central buton?
Seeing sunset at harbour of mawasangka,tasting the culinary of central buton such as kantopi,tayo(seafood),woto,kambewe etc.diving or snorkelling in kuhumawu sea(gundugundu village),exploring nature,visiting pasibungi lake,taking pictures at buton tengah monument.etc.

-Katembe beach.on this beach you can find one legendary well with fresh water.although it nears with the sea but the water is not salty. You can imagine that.the combinations of the blue colour of the sea and the soft sand are some of the best character of this beach.it highly recommended to walk along this coast of the beach and enjoy the wwrn sand in the afternoon.
-mutiara beach
Fine white sand on this beach is perfecf for sand bathing therapy.located at gumanano village.
Fresh water tourism such as
Maobu cave,koo cave,inoli cave,kacembuno cave are some of cave in this regency.
-to reach this destination you will havd to walk for 30 minutes from the road.they have stalaktit and stalakmit that wonderful. They can ring well when we hit them.
How to trip to central buton
Buton tengah can be reached by ferry, darangka and airplanes.there's only airlines that has opened it's route the island which wings air that flies direclty from makassar to baubau for 30 minutes.a for the ship, the trip takes 12 hours by Pelni from makassar to baubau.after in baubau you across to wamengkoli by darangka.you just need 15 minutes.it is easy right.
In cultures side such as pakande-kandea (free food together),kahiya(just for the girls when they get adult)and kamomose(as a event for getting a husband).it is so interesting.
